1) THEN is a half Catalan half Macedonian shoegaze duo consisting of Marc and Соња. Their music can be compared to Ride, Adorable and other early 90s british bands. Formed in the surroundings of Barcelona in late 2006 as a solo project, Marc met Соња at myspace in early 2009 and she quickly joined the band. Born out of a love for ‘Ride’ and the likes of 'My Bloody Valentine', 'The Telescopes' & ‘The Jesus and Mary Chain’, Then crafts songs full of strummed guitars, reverb, feedback & whispered vocals.
