The industrial duo Yeht Mae began in 1987 as a solo project for California programmer Jeremy Daw. He recruited vocalist Lynda Sterling and released two cassette-only albums, Against Nature in 1988 and Endless Enemies in 1990. The duo signed to Zoth Ommog Records after Talla 2XLC heard the second album, and released two additional albums: Anatomy (1992) and Transmitter (1993). Yeht Mae then moved to Out of Line Records for their fifth album, eaM theY, a conceptual tale of alien abduction. The record was released in America by Metropolis.
