Jang Woo-Young (장우영), generally known as Wooyoung, born April 30, 1989 in Busan, South Korea is a South Korean idol singer and actor, as well as one of six members of the group 2PM managed by JYP Entertainment. He made his debut as a solo artist in July of 2012 with the song, "Sexy Lady". Wooyoung had dreamt of a singing career from a young age. Although his mother supported him, Wooyoung's father had resisted, wanting his son to have an easier and more normal life. However, Wooyoung did not give up on his dream, and persistently attended dance practices.
