The Owens
At age two, Owen Phoon Svendsen,
moved with his parents from his birthplace in Stavanger, Western-Norway to Singapore. The Lion City, with its great cultural diversity, is partly accountable for developing Owen into the complete and imaginative songwriter he is today. Owen grew up in Singapore but has lived most of his adult life in Norway with his Chinese mother and Norwegian father. In his teens he also spent 3 years in South Korea and other parts of South East Asia, before eventually moving back to Norway.
