There is more than one band with this name. 1) Valkyria is a heathen non-political band that were spawned out in 1998 by J.O. Sandin from the inspiration of the proud northern history, and in order to hail and glorify our great north and our ancestors.
Valkyria consisted of J.O Sandin and Mist on the first album VÄSENS HYMNER, on the second album FÖRFÄDERS STÄMMOR, Valkyria is now a perfect orchestra, with five members... 2) Valkyria is also a thrash/speed metal band from Russia. 3) Valkyria is also a thrash/ rock/ experimental band from Bahrain.
