ACANTHE is a french progressive rock band from Grenoble (France) wich existed in the 70's. The recent discovery of old tapes recorded by the band has incited one of his member to reconstitute some songs. The band lasted only four years, it had a very intense existence, it evolved quickly and often performed live. At this time, new french prog rock bands as Ange or Pulsar have incited ACANTHE to sing some songs in french.
