Windigo is a five piece indie rock/pop band from Calgary, emerging from the Alberta music scene with catchy melodies and enthusiastic performances. "Retrospectrum", Windigo's debut album, reveals a blend between cool laid back ballads and high energy anthems; reminiscent of influential bands such as The Weakerthans, Broken Social Scene, and The Strokes. The contrast between their soft voices sets a unique tone aside for the group, and accompanies their stories of summer love and loss. Windigo lacks no work ethic as they continue to write music on a consistent basis.
