軟硬天師 ("Softhard" is the band's name in English) is a duo from Hong Kong. The two members, 林海峰 (Jan Lamb, also Lamb Dog) and 葛民輝 (Eric Kot Man Fai) were both born in Hong Kong. Lamb and Kot were classmates in college and ended up working together at designing window displays after graduation. Lamb is brother to a well-known DJ (林珊珊) and started producing a game segment on her radio show in the mid 1980s.
