Galactic North
There are three bands with the name Galactic North. 1. Indie shoegaze/alternative/folk project led by writer/musician/YouTube personality David Aarons from the Twin Cities area in Minnesota. Some of his other musician friends occasionally join in, but at present, it's more or less a solo effort. Inspired in equal part by shoegaze and folk tempered with eclectic influences from numerous other genres as well. He's currently working on his debut album to be titled Northern Lights, from which he has released a very early single (Pictures of the Last Day).
