Progressive rock band formed in Budapest, Hungary in 1986. The oeuvre of After Crying stands unparalleled in Hungarian music palette, and is also rare in international comparison. The aim of this creative community has ever been to compose contemporary, up-to-date classical music that is possible to understand for many people – since it uses elements of today’s everyday musical idiom; and at the same time is able to convey deep meaning at a high artistic level, dealing with serious issues of our time.
