Michael Nehrig is a German DJ, born in 1970 in Krefeld. In 1996, he met Jan Vervloet, and the two decided to form Kosmonova. In 1998, success came for the two artists with the single "Celebrate". The single entered several European charts including Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium. The album Supernova was released shortly following the single, and it was a success for the duo. Kosmonova did not release any additional work until the compilation Acid Folf in 2000, as well as various remixes.
