Fuzz Townshend Fuzz Townshend
Robert "Fuzz" Townshend was born on 31 July 1964. Fuzz was the drummer of Pop Will Eat Itself from 1991 onwards. He's been a drummer since the age of ten, has worked as a bus mechanic, truck driver, college lecturer, landcape gardener and used to own a bar in Digbeth, Birmingham called The Rainbow until 2005. He lives in and works from Bishop's Castle, Shropshire. Before the Poppies he'd been in a huge number of bands including General Public, Pig Bros and Kirk's Equator with whom he recorded a hilarious guitar/techno pop single "On the run from a Mormon death squad."
