Dead Copycats
One band actually FROM Brooklyn (formed late in 2007) and not just located there, the Dead Copycats are headed by Will Rossano (guitar) and Jessica Braun (vocals). Their debut, self-titled album (visit their site http://deadcopycats.com - which was primarily the result of Rossano's demo tracks being fleshed out by Braun's haunting voice - was released in November of 2008. They are currently hard at work on a follow-up that will be a true collaboration in the sense that nothing was written before the band came together.
