Nick Wood
Signed to Virgin Music by Mark Dean, the man who discovered George Michael, Nick Wood has been composing and producing music since the age of 19. His creative relationship with longtime friend, Simon Le Bon, took off when the two collaborated on the soundtrack for the documentary film, Drum, in 1987. In 1988, the two established Syn in London. Following Nick’s initial success in Japan writing hit songs for several Japanese pop idols, Nick and Simon relocated Syn’ s headquarters to Tokyo in 1991.
