Torbjørn Brundtland (10 May 1975) makes up half of the duo Röyksopp. Brundtland was born in Tromsø, Norway. He became interested in electronic music after listening to his older brother's Kraftwerk vinyls and in his early teens started experimenting with synthesizers and drum machines. It wasn't until 1998 that he formed the duo Royksopp with long time collaborator and friend Svein Berge. The pair moved to Bergen and released "So Easy" on Telle Records before being signed up by Astralwerks and releasing their debut album "Melody AM".
