Sonic Roots is from Helsinki, Finland and performs soulful hard rock with passion and personality. ”They don’t sound like anyone but themselves” is a comment that has been heard surprisingly often when talking about Sonic Roots. Even though the band cites as influences household names such as The Cult, Danzig and Black Label Society as well as more colourful nutters such as Hanoi Rocks and Guns N’Roses, not forgetting older legends as Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, this quartet can by no means be called as copycats.
