There are several artists using this name: 1) Tony Clifton began his career as a singer and stand-up comedian in the late 1970s. Despite his obnoxious personality and inept singing, he has appeared on Late Night with David Letterman and continues to perform occasionally today. 2) Tony Clifton, a Swedish band, have been playing together since their high school days. Hailing from the east coast island of Gotland, they released a 5 track self titled EP in 2006 on indie label Bricktop Recordings; the label is run by American producer/drummer/songwriter Brady Blade.
