The Jaggerz The Jaggerz
Blue Eyed Soul band the Jaggerz are best known for their 1970 number 2 Billboard Hot 100 RIAA Gold record hit The Rapper. They released three albums "Introducing the Jaggerz" on Gamble Records (1969), We Went To Different Schools Together on Kama Sutra (1970), and "Come Again" on Wooden Nickel in 1975. Donnie Iris and Jimmy Ross formed the Jaggerz in 1965 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. They were Pittsburgh's most popular band until they broke up in 1975. They reunited in 1989 led by singer Jimmie Ross and released the albums "And the Band Played On" (1998) and "Re-Rapped" in 2001.
