The band was originally founded by Andy Blucha and Mark Detre in early 2011. The two of them have worked hard on writing songs together for months on end while constantly looking for further members with very little success at first. Things have changed however during summer 2011 when Scott McNamara and Mike Ashmore joined the band. At this point the name of the band was decided to be Until We Fade. Duncan Rose has joined the band in January 2012.
