Kat Maslich-Bode
Kat Maslich-Bode, of Roanoke, VA teamed up with Petter Bradley Adams to form Eastmountainsouth in 1999. They released their debut album, and only album in 2003 with the same name as the band. The band broke up one year later and both on them started working on solo projects. After Eastmountainsouth, Kat began writing some of the for "The Road of Six", and in the time between married, moved to Nashville and became a mother. Kat has described the recording as “a labor of love" and the recording features some in her words some "amazing friends, musicians and singers".
