Aviv Geffen is a well known Israeli rock singer, lyricist and songwriter. Geffen is known for his politically controversial and anti-social lyrics and behavior; he is also known for an androgynous appearance reminiscent of David Bowie. Apart from a 12-year solo career, Geffen is also a member of Blackfield, a collaboration with Porcupine Tree frontman Steven Wilson. An important moment in his career was in 1995, when he performed at a peace rally at Tel Aviv, a few minutes before Israeli prime minister Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated.
