The Bloomsbury Set were a New Wave/Pop band from the Midlands of England. They were active from 1980 - 1983. The Bloomsbury Set released 4 singles;
'This Year, Next Year' (b-side 'The Other Side Of You') (1980)
'Sweet European' (b-side 'Version') (1981)
'Hanging Around With The Big Boys (b-side 'Getting Away From It All') (1982)
'Dress Parade' (b-side 'Serenade') (1983). The band consisted of Andy Lloyd (vocals), Gary Lloyd (bass guitar), Paul Faulkner (guitar), Jim Simpson (drums). The Bloomsbury Set supported Duran Duran on their 'Rio' tour of 1982.
