Morthond
Two artists have used this name: 1) Dark ambient group with some neoclassical edges. In 1992 Morthond changed the spelling into Morthound after releasing "Spindrift" (CMI. 15). The act was started in Sweden by Benny Nilsen now in the act Hazard. Although Morthond covers a variety of dark ambient styles, he also has a variety of experimental moments. 2) American black metal band whose singular member is Thorstadt and whose lyrical themes are paganism and depression. Given that he was on a sublabel of Gruntsplatter's creation, he is often confused with the previous.
