What would be the sound of lounge, drum and base and hip hop if it had been invented in one of the countries closed behind the iron courtain in the 70s and 80s? Plazmatikon is a unique SoundSystem. Their music is suspended in the present time but feels comfortable in the climates of broken beat, lounge, nu jazz, avant and is performed in improvised form on instruments made in ZSRR, NRD, PRL. Plazmatikon puts together elements of clubbing and experimental improvisation.
