ICONIQ
ICONIQ (real name Itō Ayumi, 伊藤亜由美, 아유미) is a Japanese R&B and pop singer of Korean descent signed under Rhythm Zone, a sub-label of avex trax. She was born in Tottori Prefecture, Japan, to Korean parents. After growing up in Japan, she moved to Korea for high-school. She was spotted by a talent scout at an H.O.T concert, and since then started training under Star World agency. In 2002, she debuted as the leader of the girl group 슈가 (Sugar). The group lasted for five years, releasing three albums in Korea and two in Japan.
