Dispyz is an alias of the "Amiga tracker" musician, producer, and live performer Tyler St Clair. Born in the concrete suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin he developed the radical musical chiptune sub-style. Although a majority of his sound is based in the minimal, harder edged sounds of early industrial music he is known most for pioneering his unique blend of breakneck speed video-game music. The beginnings of this sound began to take shape in the mid 90's when he wrote his first song on the c64 at the age of 13.
