Reflective, hushed, conversational - these are not among the numerous outstanding qualities of Montreal's leading battalion of export artists. Perhaps it's time they should be. Bajada walks softly and carries a big sack of melodic jewels, delivering them in an endearingly introverted tenor despite a savant level of writing that would make less confident singers over-emote to draw attention to their talents. Introverted or not, there's no reason Bajada can't follow his townsfolk into the big leagues. Whispers this seductive can be louder than cannons.
